A. A sealed envelope is what the postal office requires all passport applicants do in order to receive an official US passport. The process is fairly simple but does require a few steps. You must first fill out the appropriate application depending on whether you are submitting for a new passport, replacing a stolen or lost passport or just applying for a renewal of your current passport.
