For those individuals who are going to pass through customs due to changing airports or staying up to 48 hours in the UK, you must apply for a Visitor-In-Transit Visa.

If you are applying for a Visitor-In-Transit Visa, you will need to supply us with the following documentation:

 1. A fully completed and signed VAF1 application – printed out and paid for online

 2. Your original passport, travel document, or US re-entry permit

 3. Your immigration status- (i.e. Valid US Alien Registration Card, Valid I94, Valid I20, Valid DS2019, Valid Visa for the United States, Valid I-512)

 4. Two full-faced passport-size photos

 5. Evidence of your round-trip or onward reservations, as well as visas for the next countries you plan to visit (flight reservations, tickets etc…)

 6. Hotel reservations or proof of funds for hotel accommodations (if staying overnight).

 7. A money order or cashier’s check for the required visa fee $68.00

 8. Evidence of available funds for your trip to the UK – recent bank statements (within the last 30 days). No cash or credit cards will be accepted.

PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS PLUS COPIES OF ALL REQUESTED DOCUMENTS THAT SUPPORT YOUR APPLICATION.

VERY IMPORTANT: This type of visa is only suitable for visa nationals wishing to transit the U.K. for a period of up to 48 hours. It is not suitable for visa nationals intending to visit family and friends in the U.K. You will need to apply for a Visitor’s Visa if you intend on staying longer than 48 hours.

Once you have gathered all of your documentation, you will need to ship it or hand deliver it to us (hand delivery is only available for customers in the Los Angeles area) so that we can submit your application to the Los Angeles British Consulate the following business day.

We also require customers to submit a pre-paid shipping label from Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL or the Post Office so that we can ship all documents back in a timely manner.
Our fee to expedite your UK visa is $100.00. We accept personal checks, money orders or cashier’s checks.
